ADAM CRICK

A cozy bedroom with a bed that has a rattan headboard and plaid bedding in shades of blue and beige. There is a plaid curtain matching the bedding on the left side, a small bedside table with a book titled "Astronomy" and a decorative bowl, and a brass wall-mounted reading lamp above the bed. The room has dark wood flooring and neutral-colored walls.
Various fabric swatches with checked patterns in different colors, including black and white, red and white, green and white, and blue and white. Some swatches are attached to printed sheets with fabric code labels and date information. The items are laid out on a crumpled brown paper background.

Over ten years making beautiful, commercial product for the brands that matter in the home.

I'm a Senior designer leader, designer and surface pattern designer with over ten years across home, lifestyle and apparel, bedlinen, quilts, throws, rugs, ceramics, tabletop, sleepwear, knitwear — categories where the design has to earn its place on the shelf and in someone's home. I've worked with Piglet in Bed, Sanderson, Morris & Co., Made.com and Amara. Most recently I was Design Manager at Piglet in Bed, where I built the creative function from scratch — work that won the Living Etc Style Award for Best Bed Linen Design.

The creative and the commercial aren't separate for me — they never have been. The best product I've made has always come from holding both at once: strong creative conviction, clear commercial thinking, and enough experience to know when to push and when to bend. That's either a weird trait or a useful one — most clients decide it's the latter pretty quickly.

My Services

Pattern, colour, product, direction. I work across the full range of what a home brand needs — brought in at whatever stage makes sense, working through to the end.

Multiple art prints of palm and tree branches in blue, black, and white, arranged on a surface.

Surface Pattern & Print Design

Original artwork, repeat engineering, colour separations and colourway development across print, embroidery and constructed textiles. From first sketch to production-ready file, tailored to your print process and factory base.

A collage of interior design and lifestyle images focused on cozy, sun-drenched rooms, table settings, and textile details for home decor.

Creative Direction & Design Strategy

Seasonal direction decks, trend strategy, range planning, creative vision. The thinking that decides what a collection is, who it's actually for, and whether it holds together.

Multiple fabric swatches displayed on brown paper, featuring various plaid patterns in colors such as black, white, pink, blue, green, and yellow. Some swatches are attached to printed design sheets with labels indicating color codes.

Product Development & Consulting

Full product development from concept to factory, or a targeted consult on something specific — colour planning, range gaps, fabrication. Brought in when something needs to move and needs to land right.
